*saute (v.) 炒

stir-fry (v.) 快炒

Poach (v.) 水煮；清燙

eg. We had poached eggs for breakfast on weekends.

eg. She prepared beef stew for dinner.

 

broil/roast/grill 烤

eg. My mom taught me how to grill tasty chicken breast.
